Up at dawn as usual, though as previously mentioned that’s not too hard as it’s 7.15 in these parts. Sunrise here is invariably spectacular on the beach, casting long playful shadows with rich dark reds and yellows. We spent the day like every other day here lounging with our books under palm-leaf sunshades on the beach with the occasional tumble in the surf, alternating that with a cooling dip in the shady free-form pool. Heaven.
We had a tiny visitor gamble up to us on the beach this afternoon, the cutest puppy you’ve every seen – but that was pretty much the major excitement of the day, other than a massage on Playa del Amor, a lovely tiny cove hidden behind the rocks.
