Fish of the Day

Explored the delights of the Santiago Mercado Pescado, with some produce more appetising than others. For example the Congria (Conger Eel) – not exactly to our taste – whilst the Ceviche was absolutely delicious!

Incredibly, Chile is 4,270km long (2,653 miles) by an average of 177km (110 miles) wide, east to west. You can pretty much see the snow-capped Andes from everywhere!

Another glorious day wandering around Santiago de Chile. Back to the hotel just in time to wrack our nails over the England V Colombia match in the Copa Mundial – and what a result! YEAH!!!!

This is so cute – many of the street dogs in Santiago have been fitted out with hi-vis vests. The translation reads something like ‘Don’t tell me that this is the only thing that I have, thank you’
