Long drive today from Byron Bay to Hervey Bay. Over 6 hours all up. But at least we’re now in Queensland! Yay!
Traffic snarls entering Brisbane at rush hour, forgetting that we’d lost an hour by crossing the border. Then the endless roadworks on the notorious Bruce Highway, made marginally easier by the regular ‘fatigue-busting’ trivia signs. Question. What’s a baby Echidna called? We wrestled with that one….finally, the answer appeared further down the road. A Puggle! How cute is that!
Overnight here then onwards towards Rockhampton in the morning, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn on the way.
We’re almost half way there!
Hmmmm, a puggle. Who knew!? Now we do 👏👏👏
